Press Kit

When Kuja Collective is spinning some sounds, you can bet that faces are smiling and feet are stomping. Kuja is a Penticton based musical group who plays acoustic Celtic, Pop, and Metis styled music based on popular tunes and traditional dances such as jigs and reels.

Kuja’s main musicians include Blake Palm (guitar) and Fahlon Palm (violin/viola). Being a collective, the duo revel in collaborating and exploring musical creations with other local musicians in the Okanagan Valley.

Blake and Fahlon have extensive musical resumes, including cross Canada tours, playing with some of the top musicians in Canada (across a variety of genres), numerous music festivals, and winning awards for performances. Fahlon and Blake took on Kuja as a new adventure, enjoying the sense of exploration in combining eclectic styles and maintaining a focus of creating music for joy.

Testimonials

“Cannery Brewing was fortunate enough to have Kuja Collective playing for our New Year’s celebration on December 31st.  We were celebrating East Coast style with fresh shucked oysters, East coast Donairs and a Halifax countdown time. This wonderful group of Fahlon and Blake Palm along with the talented Micheal Treadway just about brought the house down!  From soulful ballads to foot stomping energy, their musical skill and the energetic vibe was simply amazing. We most certainly recommend them and we can’t wait to have them join us again!”
